Our gel wax melts are made with a high density gel wax, infused with premium fragrance oils.  Each gel wax melt is hand-poured, cured and placed into a clear PET heavy wall plastic jar with black lid.

Approximate Burn Time: 80+ hours

Suggested Burn Time: No less or more than 4 hours at one time for longevity, quality & safety.  High density gel wax is able to hold larger amounts fragrance oil, therefore burn time is more than the average wax melt made from other waxes.

What You’ll Need:

1. Wax Melt Warmer: A wax melt warmer with a tealight candle or an electric warmer works best. Make sure your warmer is designed for gel wax or wax melts in general. Some warmers might not work well with gel wax if they get too hot, so check the manufacturer’s guidelines. From our testing, a tealight candle wax melt warmer works best.

2. Gel Wax Melts: Break off a piece of the gel wax melt if it’s too big for your warmer.

Steps to Burn Gel Wax Melts:

1. Place the Gel Wax Melt in the Warmer: 

   -Typically a third of the lemon sugar cookie gel wax melt should be placed in a wax melt warmer at a time. A

   tealight candle or electric wax melt warmer with a small, shallow bowl or dish works best.

   • If you're using a tea light warmer, place the gel wax melt in the top dish of the warmer.

   • If you're using an electric warmer, place the gel wax in the dish of the warmer. Make sure not to overload it

2. Light the Tealight (for Tea Light Warmers):

   • If you’re using a tea light warmer, light the tealight underneath. The heat from the candle will melt the gel wax. Be careful when lighting the candle, as it can get quite hot.

   • If using an electric warmer, just switch it on and it will heat the wax from below.

3. Let the Gel Wax Melt:

   • As the wax heats up, it will start to liquefy, releasing fragrance into the air. Gel wax tends to melt more slowly and may not liquefy as quickly as regular wax, so be patient.

   • Keep an eye on the warmer to ensure the wax doesn’t overheat or spill over.

4. Enjoy the Fragrance:

   • The gel wax will start releasing its scent as it melts. The fragrance throw will usually be stronger with gel wax, so you should notice it quickly filling the room.

5. Turn Off the Warmer When Done:

   • Once you’ve enjoyed the scent and the wax has melted fully or you're ready to stop, either turn off the electric warmer or blow out the tealight candle.

   • Allow the wax to cool and harden again before you handle it.

Tips for Safe and Effective Use:

• Avoid Overheating: Gel wax is heat-sensitive, so if your warmer gets too hot, it can cause the wax to burn or discolor. Ensure the temperature is moderate for best results.

• Use the Right Amount of Wax: Avoid overloading the warmer with too much gel wax, as this can cause excess wax to spill over or not melt evenly.

• Cleaning: If you want to reuse the wax, once it’s cooled, you can remove the wax and store it. If you're done with it, wait for it to harden and dispose of it.
